SER-SC Mission
The mission of the SER-Student Caucus (SER-SC) is to facilitate the educational experiences and professional development of students in epidemiology-related disciplines by providing information, resources, and networking opportunities; facilitating student exchange of research ideas; and providing service to the SER and advancing and promoting the SER-SC.

Benefits and Eligibility
All current SER dues-paying student members are automatically members of the SER-Student Caucus.

Who is eligible for SER student member rates?

  • Undergraduate and graduate students
  • Trainees and fellows (working for government, non-profit, academic institutions, or other health/public health agencies)
  • Post-doctoral fellows (academic, health, or related institutions)

  • Discounted membership fee
  • A subscription to the American Journal of Epidemiology (24 issues) (Full student rate only)
  • Electronic access to the American Journal of Epidemiology (Full student rate only)
  • A subscription to Epidemiologic Reviews (one issue per year) (Full student rate only)
  • Reduced conference registration fee and room share opportunities
  • Priority registration to student events at the SER Annual Meeting
  • Members-only professional development workshops
